I was fortunate enough to grow up living next door to my aunt’s cinema - the Picturedrome. Less fortunate in that it happened to be in the washed up English sea-side town of Bognor Regis. With little else to do I spent my formative years helping various projectionists lace the giant 35mm projectors and gawking at an endless stream of disturbing 70s horror through the projection room windows. Though I didn’t realise it at the time I guess that gave me a taste for film making - not to mention a few psychotic tendencies. It took me a while to rediscover my roots. Along the way I’ve had a stab at a T-shirt company, a stint as a builder, music videos, multi media installations, a graphic design company, creative director in one of London’s biggest corporate communications companies and my own film production company. For the last 16 years I’ve been lucky enough to have directed commercials, content and corporate work all around the world including a couple of Australia’s best-known brand campaigns. I like to think of myself as a communicator and a collaborator - my passion is telling a good story.
